Product Overhauls

This category of transformation work is usually the result of a change in product strategy, the need to adapt and take advantage of new technology, or mature products that are busting at the seams with functionality, but no longer intuitive or easy to use.

Challenge

How do we build a common understanding of what we should build and why? How do we stage the work? How do we turn the titanic faster?

My role

Communicate/map gaps and opportunities, define near and long-term innovation, lead design thinking workshops, evolve mindsets and behaviors, build a cross-org understanding of why, what, the timing, breaking down the timeline into bite-sized pieces, and stakeholder management.

Outcomes and Learnings

Early cross-discipline collaboration and co-creation leads to buy-in, always tell by showing, sharing user research and insights widely, fail fast and learn faster, repetition and over communication is key.

Highlighted Work

Representing product transformations that I led and crafted, with cross-discipline and leadership collaboration.
